Though bodily in form, the sculptures assume a function beyond that of an object for sight. Exceeding capture within a single field of vision—whether by eye or by camera—they stretch from ceiling to ground, suggesting an architectural potential: they connect, separate, and articulate that space between ceiling and floor. One could read the figures as the titular dancers, albeit their choreography unfolds in how their delicate yet imposing presence directs a viewer's movement through the narrow gallery.
